Off tomorrow - Sea Princess

Testing times. With the Diamond Princess stuck at Yokohama, our hearts go out to those stuck on board, in quarantine. We have always enjoyed sea days (and nights), but that has been with the ability to roam the ship, 24 hours a day. Enjoying the fresh air, maybe even kicking a ball around the sport’s court, or just curled up at some ungodly hour, unable to sleep, but happy to have a drink, maybe a bite to eat and with a favourite book. Maybe even chat to another insomniac, temporary or afflicted by pain, or maybe even someone either chucked out of the cabin for snoring, or sneaking out so as to not wake a sleeping partner. Freedom. Daytime it has usually been a day of breakfast in the buffet, a ‘Men’s Shed’ meeting, followed by morning trivia, (Zumba for some, but not me - often the older ladies only go if it is  a hunky male instructor, just waiting for him to take off his shirt), ukulele class or dance class, late lunch, relax in the cabin or on deck.
